On the morning of April 9, ESPN NFL senior Adam Schifter reported the death of Pittsburgh Steelers quarterback Dwayne Haskins after he was hit by a garbage truck in South Florida, initially via Twitter. Almost immediately, Schifter became a target for the dialects, with Haskins highlighting his struggle in the NFL before he learned of his death. In particular, Schifter said, Haskins "appeared in Ohio in the NFL in Pittsburgh before fighting in Washington."
For example, former Ohio State / NFL defender Cardal Jones wrote on his Twitter page that he thought it would be a more appropriate post, stating that "Haskins's career ups and downs are fortunately unrelated to the loss. His life ... left to family and friends "They should be upset instead of in the shadows."

But a large audience responded to Schiffer with his views on the initial message, as well as harsh criticism of his authority.
For example, veteran Steelers Joe Hadden, now a free agent, reprimanded Schifter for his actions.
At the same time, Josh Carney of the Pennsylvania Beaver County Times encouraged young journalists to take advantage of what they had learned from Schiffer.
Young journalists have been hearing about Adam Schaefer's behavior for the past year. He has lost all honesty. He may have a lot of information, but he is an unsuccessful journalist.

An NFL fan complained that the change (tragic news) was an intelligence report.
Adam Schaefer had to report the death of a 24-year-old man to become an intellectual ...
