We The People had a 2-1 lead at half-time, but Moe Donegal took a 5-2 lead in the last half of the game, winning 2: 28.28. Nest, a plump female, was second, Skippy Longstocking was third, and we humans went down to fourth. Moe Donegal's team, piloted by three-time Eclipse Prize winner Irad Ortiz Jr., received the $ 800,000 prize while the eighth field competed for the $ 1.5 million prize pool. The early vote that won Preakness bets in May did not take place on Saturday on a 1 1/2 mile runway nicknamed "Big Sandy" in Elmont, New York.
