Perfect Day For Tottenham In Premier League's Top4 Fight

Icd Alarzrihhm

It was a day in the Premier League that could not have gone better for Tottenham.

Tottenham are favorites for fourth and final place in the Champions League after beating Arsenal and Manchester United 4-0 on Saturday, inspired by Sun Hyun-Min's hat-trick against Aston Villa 4-0.

Antonio Conte's side are improving from the bombshells of their rivals and are now three points clear of fourth-placed Arsenal, who lost 2-1 to Brighton, their third loss in the last four games.

For United, a 1-0 defeat by Everton was another low point that turned into a desperate season. It should be noted that this could mean that the European competition has not yet been reached.

United are seventh, six points behind Tottenham Hotspur.

Sons, Harry Kane, Dejan Kuluski, Tottenham Hotspur - an irresistible attacking trio;

The youngster has scored six goals in his last three league games, starting with a third-minute strike after Kane's shot went wide of the box. His finish was relentless, kissing the post along the way, as was his third goal, his 61st since the Kulushka pass that ended his first hat-trick of the season.

Kane's two quick headshots set the tone for Kuluski and more Sony goals in the 50th and 66th minutes.

Tottenham Hotspur and Arsenal face off in the last game of the season. Arsenal manager Michael Arteta only hopes his team are not left behind.

Lack of arsenal

The absence of key left-back Kieran Tierney and influential defensive midfielder Thomas Party is significant for Arsenal and undermines the defensive stability of the team formed under Arteta.

Arsenal lost to Brighton's Leandro Trussard and Enoch Muep five days after losing 3-0 to Crystal Palace. Martin Odegaard scored a consolation goal for Arsenal in the 69th minute.

"We know we have a tough job ahead of us with the team, that's for sure," Arteta said. "Injuries make things worse, but we don't make excuses."

The game against Tottenham is either positive for Arsenal or a rematch with third-placed Chelsea.

Laklster United:

United drew at home to Leicester in the Champions League and have now lost to Everton.

Anthony Gordon defeated Everton in the 28th minute in a game against United whose efforts were deflected by the helpless Harry Maguire's stretched leg.

United manager Ralph Rangnik has refused to admit the search for a new manager next season has put the team in a precarious position.

"The players should want to play international football for themselves, if possible in the Champions League," said Rangnik.

"But if we play like this, we don't deserve it. "To win a trip to Europe you have to score in a game like this in 95 minutes."

Everton are three to four points behind and Burnley are third when they host Norwich next weekend.

In a different mode

Having lost 9-0 in each of the last two seasons, Southampton almost lost by the same number of points as Chelsea led 6-0 after 54 minutes at St Mary's.

Too bad Chelsea suffered a headache in the last half hour of Real Madrid's start in the Champions League on Tuesday and that's the end of the game.

Mason Mount and Timo Warner both scored while K Hawarts also scored for Marcos Alonso.

Southampton boss Ralph Hassenhutl said: "It seems we have a game to play this season that's not fun.

Chelsea are third in the league and will almost certainly return to the Champions League next season, eight points ahead of fifth-placed Arsenal. It is 10 points behind second-placed Liverpool.

In the next game of the day, Watford lost 3-0 to Leeds, losing six points to safety.
