Louis Hamilton says he's ready for the Canadian Grand Prix this weekend despite back pain throughout the Azerbaijan Grand Prix.

Hamilton was seen fighting in his car after the race in Baku, and Mercedes team boss Toto Wolff said the incessant yelling at the W13 cast doubt on his seven-man title in Montreal.

But on Monday, Hamilton wrote that he would be eligible to run this weekend.

“Yesterday was hard, I didn’t sleep well, but today you woke up feeling better. My back hurts and hurts a little, but nothing serious, thanks.

“I did acupuncture, physical therapy with Anga [Phys. Angela Cullen], I go to my team to work with them to improve. We must keep fighting.

“We don’t have time to get together because now we will…” I will be there this weekend, I will not miss the world,” he wrote.

Hamilton said he was "praying" for the 51st round of the Baku Grand Prix, and after round 22 felt pain when he heard the order on the radio. “Dude, my back is killing me.

After the race, Hamilton said: “There were a lot of times when I didn't know how to work and keep the car on the road.

“It was a very, very difficult race. I bit my teeth in pain. Adrenaline helped me, but I can't describe the pain you feel, especially here. I prayed for this to end."

After the race, Woolf expressed concern about the impact of "migration" on drivers' health. "She's fine. You can see that it's not a muscle anymore. "It goes straight to the spine and can have certain consequences," said the Austrian.

Hamilton finished fourth, 71 seconds behind winner Verstappen and third placed teammate George Russell.

Russell also complained that the fall was uncomfortable but did not look as comfortable as Hamilton.

Russell joked about Sky Sports. "That's right. "It's uncomfortable. The cars have problems with the wheels, I'm glad I came home for the third time.

“(Now) things are a little worse. We had such a prospect at the beginning of the season, it was a ripple effect. But after Barcelona we had something else.
