Ryan Gosling's Version Of Ken Is Giving Off Serious 'Earring Magic Ken' Vibes
Ryan Gosling's first film as a "why" from Barbie's next film, released during Pride Month, is probably not accidental, as he looks like a version of a gay doll.
Many have noticed that Gosling's denim vest and faded blonde hair made her an icon of the Barbie's 1993 best friend Ken Earring Wizard.
The "ear magic" is said to have occurred when Mattel officials tried to refresh Kane's image by asking children what they thought was beautiful.
However, due to its popularity among homosexuals, the doll apparently became the best-selling version of Kane in Mattel's history.
This is because Earring Magic wore her earrings on her left ear lobe, a lilac net shirt with a similar leather vest, "Mail Magazine said, a necklace that could serve as a" curry ring ".
This particular fashion accessory was particularly challenging for Mattel's PR manager, who had to explain it in a way that was acceptable to parents who did not know what was in the gay fashion community at the time.
Lisa McKendel, Mattel Toys' marketing and communications manager, told the Chicago Reader that her employer was "not responsible for giving little girls curly rings."
He added. "It's a necklace. It has magic that she can share with Barbie. Come on, it's a doll made for little girls, something that won't be out of place at all.
Although many mothers have bought magic earrings for their babies, they have also sold well within the gay community.
But in the no-report, Mattel pulled the doll after tying the thing to the curry ring.
No one openly linked Gosling's version of the Barbie movie to Ken's earrings magic, but many on Twitter couldn't help but think it was intentional.
