The newest restaurant chain is testing delivery robots... Chick-fil-A?

In fact, the Atlanta-based chicken sandwich chain said Tuesday that it is trying to set up its own automated deliveries to select locations in California, Texas and Florida.

The company says the robots can also improve performance by reducing transportation costs over time.

Chick Phil A says he is researching and developing technology to work in a variety of environments, including shopping centers and urban areas.

Luke Stiegmeier, of the Chicago Philadelphia office in Austin, Texas, says this insight has helped him win more clients.

Chick-fil-A has partnered with Austin-based Refraction AI for independent delivery. The Steigmeyer area is sometimes used by robots to deliver orders within a mile of a restaurant. Employees load food into cars and start over.

Robots are equipped with artificial intelligence systems and built-in cameras, which allow them to move vehicles, pedestrians, bicycles, shopping malls and busy sidewalks. They can travel up to 15 miles, though "security hunters" will follow them to check operations and answer questions.

The bot is isolated and can navigate to browsing sites on its own. The customer will receive a message when the bot arrives with instructions to ship the order.

"Your diet at Chicken Fil-A is constantly changing where and how you eat," says John Wisserstone, executive director of the network's new initiative. We want to know how to expand our restaurant hospitality so you can find your place.

A number of restaurant chains have tried to implement automated catering robots, most notably Domino's Pizza, which has a presence in Houston.

Meanwhile, Chick-Fil-A is quietly becoming one of the most innovative restaurant chains in the United States when it comes to the supply and use of Dead Kitchen. The company already has a presence in several areas and has created its own virtual kitchen under the Little Blue Menu banner in Nashville.
